A medley of dances to be presented by the Richmond Pilipino Class (Philippine Language & Culture Class, Richmond, VA) students with the participation of Our Lady of Lourdes students and young parishioners.
Dances include the
National Folk Dance Carinosa,
Pandanggo Sa Ilaw (Dance of Lights), rural dance
Naraniag a Bulan (Bright Moon),
tribal Cordillera dance, Pinoy Ako (I’m Filipino) Hiphop dance & the world-famous
Tinikling (Bamboo Dance) with both fast and blindfolded versions!

Blood pressure screening
There will be opportunities for free blood pressure screening at the Filipino Festival. The Lakeside Nurses Association will take free blood pressure screenings in the vestibule of the church. The Philippine Nurses Association of Central Virginia are running the Festival's first aid station located at the OLL school libary. They will take free blood pressure screening as well.
